Hello everyone,
Another month has come and gone… here’s the brief update for Trevor Dahl art happenings.
Art Show at Fice Gallery!
Mostly, I’ve been painting which is my favorite place to be. I’ll be showing several new pieces at my show on March 15. I’m doing my largest canvases ever and I’m pushing daily to get these all done in time. I hope you’ll come! It will be my biggest and most robust show to date, with new oil paintings, prints, and merch. It’s a joint show with my friend VITA and DJ Shawz will be performing so it will surely be a vibe :)
South Salt Lake Mural Festival
All winter it’s been a lot of proposals and applications as I get things lined up for the summer season. My main goal for this year is to do a lot more murals and build up my portfolio in that regard. I’m on the right track - after applying to the Salt Lake Mural Fest several consecutive years, I’ve excited to say I’ve been accepted for this year’s lineup! The Festival will be in South Salt Lake on May 4th, and my mural will be off the S-line Trail.
I’m looking for more walls to paint on… if you’ve got a spot let me know!
Art Classes at Discovery Gateway Children Museum
As a part of a city grant program to fund art classes from local artists, I’ll be teaching a few times a week at the Discovery Gateway Children Museum from March 2 - April 13. The classes are Dream Doodling (drawing), Creature Design (sculpting), & Imaginative World Creation (painting). The classes will be Wednesdays & Thursdays 4:30-5:30pm and Saturdays 12-2pm, geared towards kids ages 4 - 10. Some of you may know I used to teach at Montessori schools, kindergarten through 4th grade and I’m looking forward to have that in my life again for a bit. If you have kiddos, come check them out! They’re not in the calendar yet but I’m sure they will be soon.
Thanks for reading, and I hope to see you soon at some of these upcoming events!
I appreciate all of your support and interest, it means so much to me! Here’s a sneak peak on some of those new paintings in progress…

Have a great day,
Trevor Dahl
